Day 1

Reaching Arusha

  • Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
  • Airport transfer to Lake Duluti Lodge

 

Enjoy a scrumptious dinner and relax the rest of the evening to rejuvenate your energy for the next day.

 

Days 2-3

Trip to Tarangire National Park

  • Gourmet breakfast at Lake Duluti Lodge
  • Car transfer to Tarangire National Park
  • Check-in to Oliver’s camp.

 

Enjoy your very first game drive in Tarangire National Park for a thrilling game viewing session into Tanzanian wilderness. Return to you camp for a freshly prepared dinner.

 

Days 4-5

Famous Tree-Climbing Lions

  • Breakfast
  • Road Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park
  • Lunch at Tree Lodge

 

Go on a game drive after a short nap and explore the vast tracts of Lake Manyara National Reserve. See the famous tree-climbing lions along with large herds of buffalos and elephants.

 

Days 6-7

Expedition to Ngorongoro Crater

On the sixth morning, head to Ngorongoro Conservatory area and check-in to Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the crater and go on a full day tour the next day for the extensive game viewing experience.

 

Days 8-10

Vast Tracts of Serengeti

Transfer to Serengeti National Park where you can go on fabulous and exciting game drives to view the big 5. Serengeti has a rich wildlife habitat and offers a comprehensive game viewing opportunity. Take a walk to the Masaai Village and explore the cultural heritage of the region.

 

Day 11-14

Katavi Wildlife Exploration

  • Transfer to local airstrip
  • Flight to Katavi airstrip
  • Transfer to Chada Katavi Camp

 

The Katavi National Park is a massive conservatory area that has diverse species of animals. From the vicious crocodiles to the lazy hippos, the region offers a comprehensive game drive experience, and you can live in the wilderness while enjoying a scrumptious dinner under the starry sky.

 

Day 15

Fly to Tanganyika Lake

  • Breakfast at Chada Katavi Camp
  • Transfer to Katavi airstrip
  • Flight to Mahale airstrip
  • Boat transfer to Mahale Camp

 

The dense forests of Mahale Mountains National Park is a unique experience in the African wilderness where you explore the regions on boats.

 

Days 16-17

Chimpanzee Tracking in Mahale National Park

For the next two days, explore the wide wildlife species in the region such as the range of tropical fish, bushbuck, leopard, bush pig, butterflies, and birds. Head-on for chimpanzee tracking and see the largest populations of chimpanzees in Mahale Mountains National Park. You can relax by the sandy beaches to recuperate after an exhausting day at the Tongwe Lodge.

 

Day 18

Ruaha National Park

  • Lunch at Tongwe Lodge
  • Boat Transfer to Mahale airstrip
  • Flight to Ruaha airstrip
  • Transfer to Jongomero Camp

 

This final destination of your journey is power-packed with three days of non-stop adventure. Explore the regions for extensive bird watching and cruise alongside the hippos. Enjoy sundowners and a delicious dinner back at the camp.

 

Day 21

Back to home

After one last game drive to Ruaha National Park and have a scrumptious lunch at the camp, head to Jongomero airstrip and take a flight to Dar Es Salaam Airport to board your plane back home.
