Day to day itinerary

Day 1

Your journey begins as you board your train from the 1940’s themed Capital Park Railway Station, located only North of Pretoria. Experience the luxuries of the rail, as you indulge in fine dining and witness the beauty of Africa through large windows of the Observation car.

Days 2

Enjoy a delicious breakfast, before you set-off to the Leopard Creek Country Club, an exclusive 18-hole golf course that border with the Kruger National Park.

Whether you decide to experience African wildlife at its finest or to take on a friendly game of golf, be assured to make memories that would last a lifetime. Indulge in a mouthwatering lunch, before you continue on your journey to Swaziland.

Day 3

Experience a thrilling game of golf at the Royal Swazi Club, in Swaziland. If you’re not yet in the mood to golf, head down to the Nygewenya Glass Factory and experience the wonders of glass-blowing.

This activity followed by a scrumptious lunch at the Malandelas Farmhouse Restaurant and Pub prepares you for the next leg of your journey, as you make your way to the Mkhaya Game Reserve best known for their Rhinos.

Day 4

Wake-up bright and early and experience an early morning game drive at the most famous Hluhluwe Game Reserve. Get back on your train by 10:30, to continue on your journey to Durban where you are welcomed with a relaxing dinner at one of the city’s most exquisite restaurants.

Days 5

Bring out the enthusiastic golfer in you, as you set off to the Durban Beachwood Country Club nice and early for a friendly game. For all those, not feeling the spirit of golf, enjoy a tour of the city of Durban and enjoy a comforting lunch at the Durban Beachwood Country Club; before heading to the train.

Day 6

Scenic views of Drakensberg region combined with a game at the Champagne Sports Resort is the highlight of your 6th day in the amazing Africa. Whether you decide to polish your golfing skills or decide to take a tour of the Champagne Sports Resort, you are sure to capture the beauty of South Africa before you head to your train; to continue with your journey.

Day 7

Spend a day relaxing on the Rovos luxury train and enjoy picture perfect views as the train heads to Sun City for your next adventure.

Day 8

While the non-golfers are presented with an excellent opportunity to explore Sun City and perhaps indulge in a game of cards at a casino, golfers, on the other hand, get a chance to play on one of the most challenging grounds, at the Gary Player Country Club.

Complete your day with a lunch at the club, followed by an adventure filled game drive through the Pilanesberg Game Reserve — home of the Big Five.

Day 9

Bid farewell to the beautiful lands of Africa, as you head back to the Capital Park Station, concluding your action packed yet relaxing trip.
