Day to day itinerary
Journey to Livingstone
On arrival at Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport, you’ll take a connecting flight to Livingstone Airport in Zambia. Once in Livingstone, you will be met by a hotel representative and transferred to The Royal Livingstone Hotel where you can settle in before relaxing on the viewing deck overlooking the Zambezi with a sundowner drink, the mist from Victoria Falls rising in the distance.
Explore the Mighty Victoria Falls
You’ll have two full days to explore the legendary Victoria Falls and its surrounding rainforest before choosing whatever adventures you want to have in this activity-packed region.
For the adrenalin junkies there’s bungee jumping from Victoria Falls Bridge, helicopter and microlight flights, and Zambezi canoe safaris as well as the chance to experience the world’s best one-day white-water rafting.
The Royal Livingstone also offers game viewing opportunities in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park. You could go on guided game drives or an elephant-back safari. Bird watchers should note that the region is one of the best birding destinations in Southern Africa.
Set your Sights for Home
