Day to day itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at Lake Malawi

• Airport Transfer from Lilongwe International Airport to the Makokola Retreat.

With only a three-hour trip to the lakeside destination, you can enjoy the view from the minibus and check into a Beach room upon arrival to Makokola Retreat. All suites are equipped with twin or king sized beds, a suite bathroom, separate bathtub, and shower. You even get a private terrace with lounge chairs to enjoy the sunset in privacy.

Days 2-4

Beach Fun

You have an entire day to explore the long beaches and golden sands with tons of bright aquamarine life. The food and beverages are included in the retreat package and you only need to make the best out of it. Whether you want to laze on your lounge chairs or enjoy a variety of water sports is entirely up to you. Activities in the Makokola Retreat include sailing, boating, canoeing, snorkeling, and water skiing.

There are villages in the vicinity for experiencing the heritage. A guide will take you on expeditions to explore the surrounding areas and to witness nature first hand. Makokola Retreat has various amenities such as a large swimming pool, tennis court, and a Golf Course, right next to the resort.

Day 5

Back to Lilongwe

After a tremendously refreshing and adventurous experience, you will be transferred back to Lilongwe International Airport to board your flight back home.
