Days 1-3

Dumela Botswana

  • Arrival to Johannesburg Or Tambo International Airport

  • Light aircraft flight to Selinda Camp, Okavango Delta

Elephants on the plains and the river water filled with hippos is a common sight in this region of the Delta. As beautiful as the area sounds, the camp sets itself in the midst of this nature with trees, overlooking the water stream, and safaris so close you can practically wander walking into them. You are offered vehicle safaris, nature walks and canoe excursions here to experience nature, wildlife and an adventure of a lifetime. Keep your eyes open to spot hyenas peeking from a corner in the evenings as their glowing eyes are all that you see.

 

Days 4-6

The Plains of Duba

Set on the verge of the water-channel with the view of grass fields is your wonderful camp set up. You set out for your game drives not very long after arriving here. Lions are the main focus here as they are very popular in this region, who majorly attack the buffaloes here. You will find these magnificent cats active during your game drives in mornings, afternoons and evenings.  With the beautiful lands and the ferocious kings of the jungle, this place is a true wildlife adventure.

 

Day 7

A Night in the City of Gold

Days 8-10

Into Zambia

This absolute wilderness valley, with its floodplains and cliffs, forms a beautiful natural passageway over the water.  Your camp is located within the forest of trees at the bank of Zambezi River where you can witness hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and elephants from your very campsite bathing, waiting, drinking or just enjoying at the river. You are offered nature walks, game drives and even water safaris on canoes or boats with a professional guide so you can submerge yourself in the Zambezi Valley to its fullest. Of course, crocodiles are not the only predators around. The big cats do come into play here. You witness a complete experience of the wild here with nature and the animals.

 

Days 11-13

The South Luangwa

On the bank of Luangwa River is the beautiful private Tafika Camp. You get a team here which serves you well and guides you through your excursions. You receive an absolute natural environment here as the main source of vegetables comes from the camps own garden. You get exclusive and private service here, as you move towards your game drives and nature walks. View the river, which is the primary source to drink water for the animals of the forests. You will be able to view herds together here. However, this place is more popular for its leopard population and is considered to be one of the most amazing regions to spot these enormous cats. You receive mountain bike safaris here too, and there is a possibility to visit the Mkasanga which is a village nearby.
