Day to day itinerary
Day 1
Boarding the Blue Train
Enjoy pre-departure drinks once you arrive at the Pretoria Train Station after which, the butler will take you to your luxury suite. Once the train departs, you will enjoy a savory brunch in the dining car and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing aboard the luxury steam train.
Enjoy scenic views of the countryside and enjoy artistic landscapes that portray the beauty of South Africa. High Tea will be served at mid-afternoon in the train’s luxurious dining car.
The train will briefly stop at the Kimberly station where you can escape into the mining town and get a rare opportunity to visit the Kimberly hole. After returning to the train, an elegant dinner will be served in the dining car, where men need to wear a jacket and tie, while women need to wear a formal dress.
Day 2
Reaching Cape Town
Start the day with a scrumptious breakfast, served on first come first serve basis in the dining car, or ask to serve it in your suite. Relax during the remaining journey, and you will reach the Mother City shortly around midday. The butler will assist you offloading your luggage and accompany you to the lounge.
