Day to day itinerary

Days 1-2
Climbing the sand dunes of Sossusvlei

Fly south out of the capital, Windhoek, to Little Kulala in the Kulala Wilderness Reserve near the Namib Desert. Close to the spectacular red dunes, Little Kulala’s location will provide fantastic photographic opportunities of the dramatic mountains that rise over 300 metres.
Experience an early morning drive to visit the Sossusvlei area. Embark on a variety of activities from early morning guided game drives, nature drives, and walks on the private reserve. The Kulala Wilderness Reserve is home to all forms of hardy desert wildlife and fauna, so keep your eyes open for ostrich, springbok, and cheetah.

Days 3-4
Discovering the Damaraland

Prepare for a different view of the Namib Desert and the desolate Skeleton Coast as you fly over these immense areas on your way north to Damaraland. Arrive at the luxury Damaraland Camp, where you’ll spend the next two nights.
Spend your days discovering this vast and ruggedly beautiful terrain, home to desert elephant, Hartmann’s mountain zebra, and southern giraffe, which have adapted to to survive in some of the harshest conditions in Africa.

Days 5-6
Exploring the Kunene Region

Today you’ll head to the far north of Namibia to the intimate and remote Serra Cafema Camp. The camp is located in the Marienfluss Conservancy on the banks of the lush Kunene River. The abundance of green around the camp is such a contrast to the lunar-like landscape that extends away from the river.
Experience the area on a nature drive, a guided quad bike excursion, or venture down the Kunene River searching for crocodiles and water birds. Visits to a Himba village are also an exciting highlight of the area.

Day 7
Returning to Windhoek

This morning you’ll return to the Kunene region and fly back to Windhoek where your tour will end upon arrival.
