Overview

The trip features seven full days in South Africa, as you explore the Majete Wildlife Reserve in search of the Big Five and relax while soaking views of the Lake Malawi. The trip kicks off with a three-day stay at the luxurious Mkulumadzi Lodge. Experience excellent game-viewing combined with lush green landscapes of the Majete Wildlife Reserve. Next, we take you to the Pumalani Lake Lodge, located on a hillside and featuring a private beach combined with a wide range of activities. Day to day itinerary

Days 1-3

  • Arrive at the Lilongwe Airport in Malawi. Here you will be met by our representative and will be transferred to the Nchalo airstrip.
  • Board a short flight that drops you at the Mkulumadzi Lodge located within the prestigious Majete Wildlife Reserve.

 

Unpack and relax at your comfortable accommodation before you head out on your next adventure. Experience Africa’s beautiful landscapes as you enjoy scenic views of the great Mkulumadzi River. Explore the many species of wildlife during your excursion. Spot the famous Big Five along with antelopes, zebras, Lichtenstein’s hartebeests and elands and enjoy exciting game-viewing opportunities during your stay in this region.

 

Days 4-7

Indulge in a warm breakfast before heading off to the mystical Lake Malawi. Your home for the next few days shall be the Pumalani Lake Lodge. With ten luxury villas carefully located in the lush green areas of the region, your accommodation offers spectacular views of Africa’s Great Lake Pumalani. Soak in beautiful views of the calming lake, and relax at the infinity pool at your lodge. Head out on a thrilling safari adventure and enjoy fun-filled activities such as a traditional dhow ride, guided natures walks and water sports such as snorkeling, kayaking, water skiing and scuba diving.

 

Day 8
Prepare to bid Malawi a farewell and recall all the pleasant memories you’ve made during the trip, as you head back to the airport to board your flight back home.
