Day to day itinerary
Day 1
Your journey begins with your arrival at the Pretoria’s Capital Park Station where you board on your luxury rail. Experience the scenic beauty of South Africa and indulge in a delicious 3-course dinner in the dining cart as you set-off on your journey through Namibia.
Day 2
On your 2nd day, you arrive at Kimberley for a trip to the Big Hole Diamond Mine and head back to the train before lunch before heading off to Namibia.
Day 3
Get up bright and early for a tour of South Africa of Upington. Hop on the train heading to the Namibian border and proceed on your journey to the Holoog Siding by the well-known Fish River Canyon. Relax and enjoy your evening on the train before you reach your next destination.
Day 4
On your 4th day, we take you on a trip to Fish River Canyon. Explore the region on a walking tour and experience standing on the very edge of one of the largest canyon on the globe. Enjoy a scrumptious lunch at the Canyon Lodge before you get back to the train to continue your journey.
Day 5
On your 5th day, you arrive at Windhoek. Enjoy a visit to the Station Museum and explore this hustling and bustling city. Next, we take you on a short tour of Namibia’s capital – Windhoek. From here you board a plane to fly out to the iconic Sossusvlei sand-dunes.
Day 6
Enjoy a filling breakfast, before heading out to experience the famous sand-dunes of Sossusvlei. Soak in the beauty of nature; before you fly back to Windhoek to board your train and continue with your journey.
Day 7
On your 7th day, you arrive at Tsumeb, where you will be transported to the Mokuti Game Lodge – a luxurious abode located in the Etosha National Park – best known for its many game viewing opportunities. Enjoy a warm meal at the lodge, settle in comfortably in your chalet and head out for a thrilling game drive.
Day 8
Wake up to the smell of sweet nature and experience an early morning game drive through the Etosha National Park. Head back to your lodge for a delicious breakfast before you head back to the train.
Day 9
Complete your journey with your arrival in Swakopmund, a very scenic German-inspired town located between the sandy dunes of the Namib Desert and the glorious Atlantic Ocean.
