Day to day itinerary

Day 1

Arriving at Jack’s Camp

  • Arrival at Maun Airport
  • Airport transfer to Jack’s Camp in the Kalahari Desert.

Enjoy hi-tea upon arrival to the camp and take off for your first game drive into the Makgadikgadi National Park. Feast on a delicious and fresh dinner upon your return from the thrilling game drive.

 

Day 2

Explore the Culture meerkats

The next day you will experience the local meerkats, who are friendly towards the visitors.

Visit a remote castle and enjoy a memorable picnic with loved ones while you learn about the traditional culture in Botswana. Get a rare opportunity to view the largest African tree while you are in Botswana.

Day 3

 

Discover archeological wonders

Go on archaeological expeditions early in the morning and explore the ancient stone tools scattered in the vicinity. After the exploration trip, head back to the camp where you will be served freshly prepared brunch. You can relax until the afternoon tea is served, after which, you will be taken on a game drive to search for Africa’s rarest carnivore i.e. the brown hyena. Along the way, you will see various gigantic mammals. Finally, when you return to the camp, a candlelit dinner will await you.

 

Day 4

The Bushmen experience

The fourth day will be exciting where you can learn the survival skills of the famous Bushmen, who prevailed in the regions for thousands of years. Gain their ancient knowledge about the local plants; learn animal behavior, and the hunting skills used by the Bushmen. After your return, you will be served lunch and head to the airport to board your flight home.
