The country is home to one of the largest populations of the mountain gorilla, which is an endangered species. This 4-day trip offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into the lifestyle of mountain gorillas, who mostly reside in packs of 30-35.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arriving in Uganda

  • Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
  • Local flight to Kihihi
  • Transfer to Bwindi Lodge

 

The eco-friendly lodge in the Bwindi Impenetrable forest has all the amenities for a comfortable stay in the dense jungle. You will be served with freshly prepared food to revitalize your energy for the adventure that awaits you for the next day.

 

Day 2

Gorilla Trekking

From the next day, you will be head off on your exploration trip to Bwindi National Park where you can sightsee various species and go on exclusive gorilla trekking to witness the marvelous endangered species first hand. Feel the adventure as you trek on the tricky mountain pathways accompanied by professional trekkers. Expect to see various bird species and other wild animals as you explore the dense rainforests. Feel intimidated as you stand a couple of feet away from the non-violent family of gorillas.

 

Day 3

Exploring the Heritage

You can enjoy a range of activities in the Bwindi region that has various species of birds, butterflies, and plants. Also, you can visit the local village and the tea plantations that spread over thousands of acres of land. Engage in cultural exploration as you visit the indigenous Batwa tribe.

 

Day 4

Back to Home

After acquiring lifelong memories, you will be transferred back to Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
