Overview

This four days itinerary has been designed to suit tourists on an extremely tight schedule. It takes you into the lush green depths of the gorgeous Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest where you will get a chance to view the last of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

The guides who will facilitate this tours have the complete knowledge of where to find these shy mammals so that tourists can view them in their natural habitat. Apart from spending time with the gorillas, you will also get a chance to learn about the cultural history of the place and go on a bird-watching excursion.

Day to day itinerary

Day 1

1. Arrival at the Entebbe International Airport
2. Catch a scenic flight to the gorgeous Kisoro located just outside the elegant Bwindi National Park

• Meet with our representative waiting for you at the airport

1. The representative will take you to the Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge via road
2. Unwind and relax before you begin with trekking the next day

Day 2

1. After a delicious begin, the trek will begin early in the morning as mist still clouds over the rolling landscape
2. Even though trekking through the dense forest will be difficult, once completed the sense of accomplishment is well worth all the effort

• Watching the gentle gorillas playing is the best experience you will have throughout the entire trip

1. After coming back to the camp, take a hot water shower, and after a dinner go to sleep to freshen up for the next thrilling day

Day 3

1. This day will be spent exploring the beautifully diverse landscape which is home to colobus monkeys and chimpanzees
2. The guided nature walk takes you around the area where you can also meet the local people of the nearby village

Day 4

1. Bid goodbye to the gorillas and travel back home with a treasure trove of memories to cherish
