Days 1-2
Spotting the rare white rhino

  • Arrival to Maun Airport
  • Transfer to Leroo La Tau
  • Two nights at Lodge

Build in spectacular fashion on a cliff; your lodge overlooks the Boteti River. This river is the outflow point of Okavango Delta, and hence it is common to spot hippos, antelopes and other wildlife from your campsite. You are offered game drives with professional guides in this wonderful National Park of Makgadikgadi Pans. The beautiful dry plains is home to abundant wildlife and birdlife and is a definite refuge to the animals migrating. Wildebeest and zebra are commonly found on these plains which attract the big predators to follow them. If luck finds a way, you may spot the rare white rhino here. Individuals interested in bird watching are at the lucky spot here. Great White Pelicans, flamingos and the ostrich are commonly witnessed during nature walks. It is exciting to spot elephants by the river who gather to drink, bathe and spray themselves with water to cool down the heat.

Days 3-4
Big Cats in Africa

  • Checkout Leroo La Tau
  • Transfer to airstrip
  • Short flight to Camp Moremi
  • Two nights stay at Camp Moremi

In the midst of trees and grasslands, if the season is right floodplains are rivers surround you too, in this land of Moremi. Your camp is based in this beautiful vicinity with nature everywhere around you.  You are here to spot the big game, especially the cheetahs, lions, and leopards. These big cats have found their home in Moremi and are very popular here. You may also occasionally see the African wild dog during your game drives and safaris. There is much more to this place yet to be discovered. Since the Xakanaxa Lagoon is what makes Okavango Delta so important, you have a fantastic opportunity to go on a motorboat cruise and explore the wildlife associated with the lagoon. Crocodiles, hippos, and others are commonly seen at the lagoon, while many birds are often spotted.

Days 5-6
Elephants

  • Check out Camp Moremi
  • Drive to airstrip
  • Flight in light aircraft to Chobe Game Lodge
  • Two Nights stay at Lodge

Your lodge is the only place in Chobe National Park with tremendous sights of Chobe River and the Caprivi floodplains. Settled in this vicinity are herds of buffaloes, giraffes by the rivers and happy hippos dancing within.  Elephants are the pride of this land. Hosting the largest elephant population in the world, this land is also home to the massive bull elephants. Many animals stop by at this region during migration periods.

Day 7
Farewell

  • Check out post breakfast from Chobe Game Lodge
  • Drive to airstrip
  • Air transfer to Maun
