Day to day itinerary

Days 1-2

Welcome to Botswana

• Arrival to Botswana’s Maun Airport
• Transfer to light aircraft by representative
• Flight to Linyanti Reserve, Chobe National Park
• Two-night stay at DumaTau, Linyanti Reserve

Overlooking the lagoon filled with Hippos is your beautiful camp under the shades of the trees. It is close to the Savuti Channel which has free game wandering-about and offers a lot of game viewing opportunities.

Your adventures here will be on vehicles, on feet, and by water safaris. Elephants are very popular within these regions, and you are bound to encounter buffalo herds, wildebeest, impala and zebra along with others on these rich plains.

Days 3-4

Intimate Okavango

• Air and boat transfer to Little Vumbura
• Two nights stay at Little Vumbura

This little enclosed and personalized camp by the waterside allows only six troops at a time. Located in the heart throbbing Okavango Delta, Little Vumbura offers activities based on water.

You get to explore the floodplains and the woodlands in vehicle safaris, game drives and also on feet nature walks, where you are bound to encounter buffaloes and antelopes from the herbivores category while predators like leopard, wild dog and lions are also popular within this region. The canoe ride, on the other hand, will take you on another journey. Experience kingfisher and other water-based animals, some calm, some shy and others a little dangerous.

Days 5-6

Delta Cruise

• Air transfer to Xigera, Moremi Game Reserve
• Two nights stay at Xigera

Depending on the water levels you receive here, you may witness big and small game here. Also known as the Paradise Island, the camp is set up in the vicinity of beautiful wetlands and a healthy riverine vegetation. On your early morning game drives, you are likely to encounter crocodiles under the river beds and hippos playing in the water.

Elephants are bathing themselves on the banks and the lions drinking. As these wetlands are permanent, it is common for you to witness the sitatunga swamp antelope. This place is also home to a variety of birds including the Pel’s fishing owl, African skimmers, wattled cranes, salty egrets and lilac-breasted rollers.
