Day 2- Day 3

This morning tourists will leave from Entebbe and begin to travel throughout the central location of the country. Tourists will pass the striking rural municipalities of Mityana, Mubende and Kwenjojo on their way.

Tourists will then arrive at the pristine town of Fort Portal, located at the base of the extensive and majestic Ruwenzori Mountains. After a delicious lunch, continue the journey along the undulating hillside past the scenic Crater Lakes to the stunning Kibale Forest Camp situated in the famous Kibale Forest National Park.

Early next morning, embark on the trip with Kibale’s expert researchers into the beautiful subtropical forests to track down the local chimpanzees’ population. To view these regal creatures in their natural habitat is an out of this world experience.

Day 4 – Day 5

Bid adieu to the mind-blowing beauty of Kibale Forest and make your way towards the southern region through the rich farmland. Travel on the magnificent slopes of the gorgeous Ruwenzori Mountains which is famously known as one of Africa’s tallest mountain ranges. Cross the equator before you finally reach the legendary Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After enjoying a tantalizing lunch at the beautiful Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge, start out on a safari drive in Uganda’s primary game viewing district. Be on a constant lookout for elephants and buffaloes which are common visitors over here. This is also the breeding ground of the rare Uganda kobs and you will see them grazing on the lush green grass.

Continue with your safari trip in this beautiful park, the next day, as you thoroughly explore the intricate network of tracks in your quest for all the animals you have yet to see. In the evening, board a cruise on the Kazinga Channel which is home to the vast concentration of hippos.

Day 6 – Day 7

Head over to the south via the beautiful national park to the massive Ishasha Plains and relish a short safari drive to spot the plain’s world famous tree climbing lions. After having a chance to view these fiercely adapted creatures you are going to exit the park and travel straight through the undulating hills of central Africa as tourists make their way to the Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge located in the great Bwindi Impassable Forest.

This early morning will see tourists off on a once in a lifetime experience of trekking for the exquisite mountain gorillas of Uganda. A certified guide will lead the group along in the search for these gentle mammals, but you should be well prepared for a very long trek as they are not very easy to unearth. The trek will prove worthwhile when you see these marvelous creatures in their natural environment.

Day 8

Head out with a tempting packed lunch and make your way to the striking Lake Mburo National Park through the town of Mbarara which is known to be the largest urban center in western Uganda. Continue to the park and look out for the herds of Ankole cattle on the way to the entrance.
