Our 5-day trip features a stay at the Selous Safari Camp in the Selous Game Reserve; followed by a stay at the Jongomero Camp in the Ruaha National Park. Spend two full days exploring the African wildlife that calls Selous their home as you go on thrilling game drives and guided walks. Next, you get a chance to spend an entire day at the Ruaha National Park soaking in views of South Africa’s untouched landscapes and experience South Africa’s rich and diverse wildlife.

Day to day itinerary
Days 1-2
- Your journey begins with your arrival at the Dar Es Salaam Airport in Tanzania.
- Here, you will be met by our representative and will be transferred to the Selous Safari Camp.
Enjoy your stay at this comfortable camp located in Tanzania’s most thrilling yet the least explored reserve; the Selous Game Reserve.
Spend your time in this region enjoying action-packed game drives, guided walks, and river safaris as you witness large herds of elephants along with large populations of crocodiles and hippos. Or, just laze in at your camp and enjoy a cool drink on your veranda; and soak in the scenic views of the beautiful Lake Nzerakera.
Days 3-4
Spend the next days of your vacation at Ruaha.
- Enjoy a filling breakfast before making your way to the Bush airstrip; to catch your flight to the Ruaha National Park.
- Upon your arrival, you shall be met by our representative and will be safely transported to the Jongomero Camp. This will be your home for the next few days.
Spend your time at the Ruaha National Park going on thrilling game drives as you explore the many different species of birds and wildlife that inhabits the region. Enjoy picnic lunches and scrubland dinners as you spot animals passing by, and spend your nights sleeping to the beautiful sounds of nature.
Day 5
Prepare to head back home as you enjoy a final breakfast before making your way to the airstrip. Board on your fight to the Dar es Salaam Airport, where you catch your connecting flight home.
