Day to day itinerary

Day 1 – Day 3

This all-encompassing tour begins in the gorgeous Maun, which is famously known as Botswana’s gateway city into the beautiful Okavango Delta. After meeting with their guide in the morning, tourists will set out on a road trip to the Moremi Game Reserve for the very first thrilling part of their safari adventure.

Tourists will get to spend 3 nights at the lavish Letaka Tented Camp and also explore the Xakanaxa area of Moremi Game Reserve on guided safari drives. Romantic lantern lit evenings and drinks around the fire while recounting the day’s findings, and then peacefully falling asleep under the starry sky to the sounds of African wildlife throughout the night is what you should be expecting when you take this amazing holiday package.

Moremi is situated on the far eastern edge of the gorgeous Okavango Delta, and its environment includes plains, swamplands, and lagoons, waterways peppered with papyrus, forests, and grassland. This huge miscellany supports a profusion of wildlife which tourists can track in a customized 4×4 safari vehicle, guided by a very professional and skilled ranger.

The major highlight for numerous safari-goers is the chance to sight the rare African wild dog. Moremi is famously known as one of the top African destinations to house these sporadic canids. Lions, buffaloes and elephants also are some of the animals which could be found in abundance in the reserve.

Day 4- Day 6

Bid goodbye to beautiful Moremi on a slow safari drive along the Manuchira Channel with picturesque plains, mopane scrubland and woods. Tourists can stop to view the denizen hippos at the gorgeous Dombo Pools. You might even be lucky and spot a solitary elephant bathing in the stunning channel. Tourists will also be able to see huge crocodiles, leopards, cheetahs and lions as they pass through this wildlife abundant territory.

The journey comes to an end at the mind blowing Letaka Tented Camp located in the dazzling Khwai Community Area where tourists will continue with their exploration of the well-known Okavango Delta in a hunt of big game, and maybe also some smaller species such as the semi-aquatic lecher antelope, African wildcats and servals.
