Overview

The Fairmont Zimbali Resort is a tropical coastal haven on the Dolphin Coast of Kwazulu-Natal with bush, mountain and coastal attractions.

Zimbali, which in Zulu means ‘valley of flowers’, is shaded by a thriving forest reserve surrounded by beautiful flourishing gardens and vegetation, overlooking the infinite white sands and the waters of the Indian Ocean.

Rooms

The Zimbali Resort has 154 warmly decorated rooms in a variety of room styles – Deluxe Rooms, Deluxe Sea View Rooms, Deluxe Garden Rooms, Junior Suites, Deluxe Suites, Sea View Suites, and Deluxe Garden Suites.

Each room and suite has a spacious balcony with views of the ocean or gardens, satellite TV, and luxurious bathrooms with separate baths.

The Deluxe Room is a combination of contemporary African living and modern aesthetics in a spacious living space. The open-plan room features a king-size bed, and frosted sliding doors which open on to a large en suite bathroom with a bath and separate shower.

Other Room Types

Located on the ground floor, the Deluxe Garden Rooms offer views of the gardens from the terrace.

Similar in layout to the Deluxe Room, these rooms are open-plan with a king-size bed, and a dividing frosted sliding wall to an en suite bathroom.

The Deluxe Sea View Rooms are the same as the Deluxe Rooms in both layout and amenities, with a king-size bed and en suite bathroom. These rooms have a private terrace that offers an exquisite view of the Indian Ocean. Featuring a king-size bed and a small kitchenette, the Junior Suites are slightly larger than the Deluxe Rooms.

These rooms feature an open-plan layout with African inspired decor, and include an en suite bathroom. Enjoy views of the garden from the patio. The Deluxe Garden Suite offers a stunning spacious layout with the inclusion of a separate full kitchen from a dining/living area that leads out onto a patio with views of the garden.

The separate bedroom has an en suite bathroom that features a shower, bath, and private toilet. This same room is available with the sea views.
