Xudum Okavango Delta Lodge

Overview

The Okavango Delta in Botswana is a natural wonderland where delicate dragonflies dart from green reed to pastel-pink lily, and tsessebe, sitatunga and red lechwe antelope move from island to island, watched closely by lions, leopards and crocodiles.

In the midst of this untouched splendour lies Xudum Okavango Delta Lodge in the Moremi Game Reserve, whose nine luxurious suites overlook the game-rich lagoon and offer guests the ultimate in comfort and privacy.

Guarded by a resident family of waddling hippos, the earthy glamour of Xudum (pronounced ‘Ku-doom’) compliments the electric Delta environment, where predators like African wild dogs share the floodplains with large herds of elephant and buffalo.

You are able to explore the glistening waterways by mekoro (dugout canoes that are poled by your guide) or traverse the golden grasslands in search of the Big 5 via 4×4. Ideal for discerning families, Xudum Okavango Delta Lodge can tailor a safari for families with children.

One of the highlights at Xudum is the rooftop lookouts built atop each suite. By day, they offer sweeping views of the lagoon and beyond, while by night they are make for adventurous place for stargazing the Milky Way.
