Facilities

The Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa offers a number of facilities including relaxing activities and dining options within the premises of the hotel. The hotel has an amazing spa with seven different treatment rooms.

These also include dual therapy rooms, hydrotherapy pools, and floatation tank and rain showers. This is to make sure guests are rejuvenated physically by the end of their vacation.

Massages are offered at the gazebos of the hotel, and an Arabic cleansing ritual with steam and mud is offered at the Rasul Chamber. The hotel is equipped with a small cinema entertaining sixteen people at a time, which also offers milkshakes and popcorn. You can also choose which movie to watch.

The hotel has a swimming pool with a rock architecture and a heated infinity pool too. The hotel also offers a shuttle service should you want to take a tour around the city.

Dining

The Twelve Apostles Hotel offers a variety of restaurants to choose from within the hotel premises and the surrounding areas. The Azure restaurant specializes in seafood, and plump oysters are even popular at breakfast there. They also serve succulent abalone, springbok, and tender scallops. The restaurant also has a list of fine South African wine on its menu list.

The hi-tea is most popular at “Tea by the Sea” which is set on the balcony with views of the sea. It warms you on cold days with its fireplace with a log-fire and has amazing snacks like cucumber sandwiches, scones, and clotted cream.

The Café Grill is a casual and open place and is available to dine at any time of the day. You receive light meals and ice cream on its list of menu. If you are a drinks person and want to enjoy cocktails, the Leopard Bar is an amazing place for you. The terrace outside is famous for cotton candy which you can enjoy at sunset.

Superior Sea Facing Room

Superior Sea Facing Room is designed with balconies with overviews of the Atlantic Ocean. These rooms are designed with an open-plan and provide both comfort and luxury within a tranquil environment.

Presidential Suite

The Presidential Suite is a lavish suite with a separate dining room featuring a dining table with eight seats. It is designed with silk wall covers and hand-carved panels. The suite has two bathrooms with underfloor heating and a bathtub with a glass door.

The Presidential Suite is equipped with a dressing room or a study which you can choose from. If four groups are traveling together, an additional bedroom can be connected with this suite.

Luxury Room

Luxury Rooms are equipped with sophisticated sofas and chairs, within a single bedroom that overlooks either the mountain or the sea.

Mountain Facing Room

Mountain Facing Room provides an ideal view of the Twelve Apostles Mountains themselves. These are equipped with four-poster beds along with all the other facilities of the luxury room.

Classic Room

The Classic Room features spacious bathrooms, Wi-Fi, and a LED TV.the room is best for both couples, and business individuals as the room also have reading lights, stationary, a writing desk, fax machine and a printer.  The room provides for romantic views from its balcony too.

Other Room Types

Mountain-facing Rooms have awe-inspiring views of the Twelve Apostles’ craggy peaks and deep kloofs from their floor-to-ceiling windows while ground-floor Mountain-facing Rooms look out onto the surrounding fynbos garden from their stately 4-poster beds.

Luxury Rooms have views of either the sea or the mountain, with elegant sofas and deeply-buttoned easy chairs provided a great spot from which to enjoy them.
Superior Sea-facing Rooms have an open-plan design and balconies that open out onto the Atlantic.

Garden Suites are ideal for guests travelling with pets or children under 12. Children are also best accommodated in the One-bedroom Mountain and Sea-facing Suites.

The 151m² Presidential Suite is opulent, with pale silk wall coverings, an 8-seater dining room, a wrap-around terrace and beautiful mosaics and hand-carved panels. From the ceiling hang Italian chandeliers while the walls are strung with South African Masters.

The two bathrooms are marble and have underfloor heating while a tub calls out for a glass of bubbly to enjoy the view of twinkling Lion’s Head in the distance.  The Presidential Suite also has a wood-panelled dressing room or study, depending on your needs.

For parties of four, an extra bedroom can be connected to the Presidential Suite. Up to 10 guests can be accommodated by extending the Presidential Suite into the Grand Master Suite, which has five inter-leading double bedrooms.
