Dining

Rooms

Colonel’s House

Colonel’s house is a military style design which is furnished and has a fireplace of its own. The house features double bedrooms with both having individual showers and baths. The house opens up to a courtyard which can be used for dining and relaxing. The courtyard also has a plunge pool. The bedroom features a separate dressing room and the sitting room opens out to a private viewing deck.

 

The Eyrie

The Eyrie is a single bedroom accommodation which is furnished and has a circular bedroom. The outdoor features a rock bath which overlooks the distant hills.

 

Chiefs House

Chiefs House is designed spectacularly with a dining room, kitchen and sitting room. The outdoor features a courtyard, viewing deck, swimming pool and gardens. Guests here receive a private butler providing discreet service.

 

Sultan’s House

Sultan’s House is designed in a traditional African style and is furnished. It features a double bedroom and an en-suite bathroom. The bedroom hosts a four-poster bed and the house provides space for a children’s bed too. The house also has a second guest bathroom.

Other Room Types

Reflecting contemporary Africa, the Chief’s House combines modern interiors with the best of African art, fabrics and artefacts. There are three en suite double bedrooms and a dressing room as well as an outdoor bath for the master bedroom. The sitting room has a cosy fireplace and the outdoor deck has a private plunge pool.

Designed in a colonial/military-style, the Colonel’s House is a blend of brass-bound furniture, oriental carpets, and a stunning Knole couch in front of a fireplace. The house has two double en suite bedrooms each with a separate shower and sunken bath. The courtyard offers opportunities for outdoor dining or cooling off in the private plunge pool.

The Eyrie is an en suite single bedroomed house set outrageously on the top of the lodge’s rock kopje (small hill). Designed in a retro-style, the house is seductively furnished and features a large round bed in the circular bedroom. There is a private outdoor double rock bath with stunning views of the rugged hills in the distance.
