Overview

Situated in the southern Serengeti near the Moru Kopjes, the Serengeti Pioneer Camp is a throwback to the traditional 1930s style of mobile camping, with ample style and luxurious touches.

Ideally located, the camp offers you superb access to the annual Wildebeest Migration and the famous Big 5 that roam the endless plains, as well as stunning views of the Moru Kopjes (where you can visit Maasai rock art) and Lake Magadi.

Spend your days exploring this world-famous national park as you search for the Big 5 and other incredible wildlife.

Between game drives, relax on the viewing deck where you can continue to spot wildlife as you sip on a refreshing drink.

Dining

Breakfast and dinner is typically served in the camp’s dining tent, while lunch is enjoyed either back at camp or in the bush on a full-day game drive.

Rooms

The Serengeti Pioneer Camp consists of 11 tents in the traditional mobile camps style of the 1930s.

Each tent features an en suite facility with a flush toilet, vanity and shower, mosquito netting, writing desk, and lounge chairs (indoors and out).

There is also a 2-bedroom family tent. All beds are queen-sized and hot water for the en suite bathrooms is provided via solar power.
