Overview
Savute Safari Lodge is located near the savute water channel, in the heart of Chobe National Park. It is often distinguished as smooth and sometimes dry, the channel part of this rich ecosystem is known for its high density and visits from elephants, hyenas and lions, and the region is among Botswana best game-viewing spots.
The main structure is made of thatch and wood and has a lounge, a library and a cocktail bar. It is close to the viewing deck, which is perfect for watching game drives and activities at the waterhole. But the real attraction to the place is far from the field, if you go early in the morning and in the late afternoon game drives, looking for a great game then you are surely in luck. Savute is famous for its high chances to view predators and if you come in the months from November to March, in the summers, you can have the chance to witness the migration of the Linyanti / Chobe zebras and enjoy the incredible birdwatching as well.

Savute Safari Lodge is powered through a generator that will close after the last guest has come back for the night and again before dawn. Please note that your electric fan would not work during the night.

Savute Safari Lodge features 11 luxurious suites made of wood, thatch and glass suites which are under the shade and sheltered from the sun through the branches of camelthorn trees. Each spacious room features a seating area, a private terrace and an en suite bathroom.
