Providing the services of a 5-star lodge, Sanctuary Makanyane Safari Lodge is found on a gorge facing the riverside forest in a malaria-free region of Madikwe Private Game Reserve. The lodge can house around 16 guests, providing a private and intimate safari experience.
Skilled and professional guides will take the guests out on game viewing vehicles to catch sight of the Big 5. Guests can head out on guided game drives and guided bush walks for a classic wilderness experience. Sleep-outs at night in a makeshift bed on a platform is also arranged by the lodge’s staff.

Makanyane’s dining area and lounge is an ideal spot for guests to relax and unwind. The spacious wooden decks with rock fireplaces are the perfect spot to sip a drink while gazing at the magnificent wildlife.

Sanctuary Makanyane Safari Lodge provides accommodations in eight suites for maximum 16 guests.
A path accesses the suites through the forest making it an amazing view. Each of the suites rustic, African texture interiors complements the surrounding natural landscape.
All suites are air-conditioned and feature a lounge with a sundeck. Other amenities compromises of a fireplace, fans, safe, telephone, bar as well as coffee and tea making facilities. The bathroom is instilled with a bathtub and two showers. The lodge has already provided all toiletries.
