Overview

Porini Rhino Camp provides guests a wholesome safari experience, savor a private conservancy near Mount Kenya, view the rare 4 of the seven remaining white rhinos, tour chimpanzee sanctuary, stroll along Masai guides for walks and game drives and view hippos along Ntiakatiak River and many more activities.

The tented safari camp is located at the bottom of Laikipia Plateau on the foot of Mount Kenya and Aberdares. Along with exciting recreational activities, the tents are well-equipped with comfortable beds and serving of delicious meals for guests to enjoy.

Guests can enjoy game drives along the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy and subject to season, may also view wildebeest migration. After long game drives, guests return to retreat at Porini Rhino Camp’s bar to share their wildlife tales with other guests.

Porini Rhino Camp provides delightful picnic lunches in bush and cocktails are served at sunset during evening game drives. Guests can enjoy a beautiful savannah sunset in a typical African environment. Guests are served with freshly baked bread daily and dinner is served with multiple courses. The food is locally grown and served in the dining area. There are occasions when guests can enjoy dinners under the open sky.

Porini Rhino Camp has six large and well-equipped tents, each having their own verandahs for guests to enjoy private and magnificent nature views. The tents also have the facilities of attached bathrooms for the comfort of guests.
