Dining

Enjoy refreshing breakfast by the beach at The Lakeshore Deck. You have options to have your dinner by the beach beneath the dazzling sky or privately request for getting it served in your chalet.

The meals are prepared from fresh vegetables and fruits from a farm run by the Manda Wilderness Conservation Project which gives you the best taste of food which is better than anywhere else in Africa.

Rooms

The lodge has six chalets each of them are placed in the treeline to assure the natural positioning of rooms. The luxurious chalets are equipped with four-poster beds with mosquito netting; each chalet comes with an en-suite bathroom with showers flowing hot and cold running water and a bathtub which is beautifully crafted from rocks.

The chalets also feature armchairs and hammocks for the guest to relax in or read a book there. If you plan to visit with a group of friends or family, then the Makolo House should be your preference.

Promising you the best views of the lake, this house has a huge lounge, an open dining area, and an extra room upstairs with a balcony that offers magnificent views of the lake and vicinity.

Other Room Types

For a private and exclusive experience for your family or group of friends, stay in either of the two Nkwichi Houses. Makolo House, with its high thatched ceilings and upstairs platform, has two en suite bedrooms and private access to the lake for swimming.

The Songea House and Chalet is set in a beautiful position overlooking the lake and a private cove. Socialising happens in the sunken lounge and open dining area while accommodation is provided in an upstairs room with its own balcony with views of the lake as well as in a separate chalet with an en suite bathroom.
