Overview

The Nimali Tarangire is located within the Tarangire National Park at a private reserve. It offers great privacy with only six tented suites located within its accommodation area. The national park that surrounds this wonderful camp is rich in wildlife and provides an incredible adventure with the wild. It is one of the best places to experience the Tanzanian safari, and provides an incredible introduction to the wildlife within Tanzania. The camp is set on the bank of an incredible seasonal river. It is constructed in an ideal way to blend with its environment.

The camp contains an eco-friendly environment and uses solar power to provide electricity. It is an ideal place to provide an intimate time especially for honeymoon couples.  The camp offers outstanding experiences which include game drives, safari walks, night drives and nature exploration activities, lead by a professional guide. The park is best known for elephants, and lions which are famous for climbing the trees. This park is also home to long-necked gerenuk and over five hundred bird species. Most big predators of Africa are also found within this region. The camp also offers an incredible hot air balloon safari and nearby tours can be taken to the Ngorongoro Crater or the Lake Manyara. If you wish to understand the African culture a short visit to the nearby Maasai provides a splendid experience.

Facilities

The Nimali Targirie is an incredible yet traditional safari camp that provides for both comfort and an incredible ambiance. The camp is packed with facilities and offers spa treatments, rejuvenating healing therapies, health checks and even beauty treatments. Guests can avail massages after game drives which is a perfect way to relax your body. The camp has a central dining area and a lounge along with a dedicated bar area. The camp also equips itself with a library and Wi-Fi internet connection is available throughout the camp. The viewing deck of the camp overlooks the waterhole where wildlife can be spotted easily. The camp also has its own swimming pool and a fire pit where dining experiences are amazing especially the dinners out under the starlit sky.

Dining

The Nimali Tarangire serves incredibly delicious and diverse cuisines which are prepared on special order. This is done to make sure all meals are fresh and served as cooked. The breakfast is a light serving followed by either a filling brunch or an early lunch after guests return from game drives. Dinners are served late evenings. Meals are also complimented with surprise and special treats. Breakfasts can be coupled with champagne or guests can go for private dinners in the bushes.

Tented Suite

The Six Tented suites at Nimali Tarangire all are comfortable and are packed with facilities. Each camp equips itself with double beds; three camps with king size and three with twin beds. For guests who are traveling with children, an extra bed can be added upon request.  Two tented suites are located close to each other which are ideal for families, while two suites are located at a distance from the camp making them ideal for couples. All the tents provide traditional safari couches, writing desk, reading corners, hairdryer, safe charging points for appliances. Each suite has its separate, private bathroom which comes with double washbasins and a shower. The suites have their own outdoor private viewing timber deck, which can also be used for dining.
