Mara Ngenche Safari Camp is located at the convergence of Mara and Talek Rivers in the Masai Mara. It offers an old fashion safari experience with stunning wildlife views of the famous hippo pool. With a capacity of 10 tents, Mara Ngenche Safari Camp allows guests to experience the very best of Kenya. It also offers a view sight of ‘The Great Migration,’ where wildebeests in thousands and other wild animals roam the savannah and move on to their annual trip in search of fresh water reserves. Facilities

The Mara Ngenche Safari Camp facilities are to a minimum so you can concentrate on wildlife. At the combination of the two rivers, with viewing decks that overlooks the water reserve where there is a constant display of animals. Such a sight can be seen from every angle point of the field. The land is not fenced off, and you are still secure and safe by the Maasai Warriors. The Warriors are also your highly trained and professional guides and moderators for your game drives. The safari trips are made simple and easier by the open-sided 4×4 vehicles. The Masaai guides would also share their knowledge and keep you entertained by night. Each tent has a private pool, while a common area which includes a bar, a dining area, and a lounge.

Dining

Breakfast and lunch can be served outdoors under the shade of the trees. Dinner is served in the tent. However, private meals can also be organized on your verandah or under the night sky. The common dining area is open on the waterfront which allows you to watch the crocodiles and hippos while you’re eating or drinking. The food contains local recipes and flavors; all served by the friendly staff of Masaai. After dinner, listen to famous safari stories around the fire before you retire to your tent.

Mara Ngenche Safari Camp is small and maximizes the atmosphere of being alone in the desert like the old explorers. There are only ten tents that keep guests in small groups at once. The tents are insect-proof and each has a four-poster bed, a king-size bed or two single beds with 180 degree views of the Mara River. Each room also has a private bathroom with double sinks, hot and cold running water, flush toilet, bathtub and outdoor shower with views. Each tent also has a private porch and swimming pool.
