The Lodge has a central area which consists of a public lounge with a fireplace and a bar. This lounge is open aired and has a very relaxing aura. The lodge also has its swimming pool where you can take a refreshing swim. The lodge equips itself with a viewing deck overlooking the Sabie River, a wellness center for spa treatments and luxury suites.

Dining
The Lodge has its own kitchen which serves unique and delightful African cuisines. These dishes are best served at a safari experience. The River Lounge is where dining activities take place. Guests may also choose to dine out in the open experiencing the African wilderness under the Milky Way.

Luxury Room
The Lion Sands River Lodge is made up of twenty accommodation suites. The suites are all Luxury Rooms with incredible views from their private decks. The rooms are all air-conditioned and are equipped with a king size bed, mosquito netting and en-suite bathrooms that have stand-alone showers and bathtubs. The suites also provide internet and a mini bar.
Superior Luxury Room
Some suites are provided with a few extra facilities. These are the Superior Luxury Rooms. These rooms come with added features of an outdoor shower, extra space for children and twin beds. These suites are perfect for families and have separate toilets too.

Other Room Types
The Superior Luxury Suites are particularly spacious and offer all of the facilities of the Luxury Suites with the added advantage of an outdoor shower for star-lit ablutions with a view.
Four of these suites are inter-leading and perfect for families with children older than 10 years. Like the Luxury Suites, the bedrooms feature king-sized beds with draped mosquito nets, which may be made up as twin beds, and full en suite bathrooms with separate toilets.
