Overview
The Jack’s Camp is situated within the Makgadikgadi Pans, Botswana and combines ancient African living with modern day facilities. It provides access to an incredible wildlife safari where you witness honey badgers, Kalahari lions, Cape hares, porcupines and brown hyenas. The camp keeps itself wild as it has tame meerkats who interact with guests staying at the camp.
These camps are set under the shade of the palm tree forest and provide for a central dining area with extra-long tables. The camp has its swimming pool and a collection of fine wine for you to sip. The camp does not have electricity and is lighted with lamps, but provide for all other facilities including proper bathrooms.

Jack’s Camp provides a traditional African safari under the stars with a no-electricity experience. The camp, however, is packed with modern facilities, including bathrooms, a swimming pool, billiard room and a bar. For adventurous individuals quad bikes are available to ride to the pans and guests are free to play with the tame meerkats at the camp. Your safaris include not only game drives and nature walks but also learning about ancient culture, tradition, hunting techniques and beliefs.

Wake-up calls come with fresh coffee and biscuits in bed after which you join in breakfast at the main hall. The dining here is natural and unique as it relies on local ingredients which are picked fresh. The lodge specializes in roast beef from Botswana’s game, orange tartlets which are freshly baked, basil soup and ostrich piccata to mention a few.
