Overview
Gorah Elephant Camp is a lodge in the heart of the country. The Addo Elephant National Park, home to the densest elephants of South Africa, offers spectacular views of the herds of elephants.
The main house was restored in the colonial style of the 19th century with great attention to detail. Antiques and original wooden furniture can be found throughout the lodge, reflecting the golden age of the African safari.
During the day, you can relax in the thatched boma, take a walk in the garden or dive into the rock pool. Explore the Addo on an outdoor safari, on foot or on horseback. Probably the best elephant show in South Africa, Addo also houses the rest of the Big 5, many antelope species and a wide variety of birds.
