Overview
Located near to Mfuwe Main Gate of South Luangwa National Park, Flatdogs Jackalberry tree house is designed and built 2 meters above ground level to provide an absolute view of the great safari wildlife lagoon. The treehouse comes to life when the guests are able to witness the national park’s animals who are wandering around in search of water. Apart from an exclusive view of wildlife from so close, the treehouse also offers excellent game viewing opportunities under the supervision of expert guides and in comfortable chalets.

The treehouse is built around 3 African Ebony trees and it is specifically located in a private spot to maintain the privacy for the guests. The tree house has two en-suite bedrooms with a combined deck. The guests can even take a refreshing dip in the sparkling swimming pool, after which they can grab drinks from the bar or take a sip of coffee from the exclusive tea/coffee machine. The guests are also provided with electricity supply and sockets to recharge their cameras, phones or laptops.

The Ala Carte Menu is served at the Dog and Gat restaurant and bar. Guests can grab refreshing drinks and scrumptious meals from the restaurant, where the staff even arrange special romantic dinners for couples if requested.
Rooms
The Flatdogs Jackalberry Treehouse is known for its two open bedrooms elevated 2 meter above the ground. The treehouse has one king sized bed and the other room has a twin bed facility for the guests along with a common dining deck equipped with floor cushions and comfortable cozy chairs to enjoy the lagoon’s view. Every guest is offered a hand-held radio to call the vehicle for a guided tour back to the main chalet. The main chalet has six chalets with double and triple rooms and en-suite bathrooms.

There are six lovely double-storey chalets at Flatdogs. Each chalet offers a downstairs double room with en suite bathroom and an upstairs twin or triple room with a designated downstairs bathroom.
On the banks of the Luangwa River, in the shade of mahogany trees, are six en suite luxury safari tents featuring impressive views of the river.
The Family House sleeps eight people in three bedrooms and an upstairs viewing deck overlooking the Luangwa River that is accessed via a spiral staircase.
