Deception Valley Lodge is located within the private concession at the edge of Central Kalahari Game Reserve. The lodge is designed to the traditional African theme, and the areas around it offer you an epic wildlife safari experience.
The lodge offers you luxury and comfort along with memorable sightings of both nature and animals. You are offered guided trips to explore the nature, and you learn a lot about the African culture here. You can also learn some traditional hunting techniques.
Night drives and game tracking are a specialty of this lodge however you can also relax under the starry night sky after watching beautiful sunsets.

Deception Valley Lodge is well equipped with a lounge, a small library and an outside deck overlooking the waterhole which is essential for animal life survival. The lodge also has a swimming pool, and you can sunbathe at the lounger.

Dining
This traditional safari camp offers great meal variety. The indoor dining area is usually used for breakfast and lunch while dinners are best enjoyed outside in the traditional African boma style. Freshly hunted meat, with the starlit sky, builds a great ambiance for dinners.

The Deception Valley Lodge offers great privacy as it consists of only eight chalets all providing luxury and comfort. They are designed in straw and wood architecture to blend in with the outside environment.
The interiors are however equipped with Victorian style bathrooms having outdoor showers, a spacious lounge, and twin beds. All rooms come with ceiling fans, mini bar, shaving plug, bathrobes, hairdryer and mosquito nets. One specific chalet has connected rooms which is an ideal option for families.
