De Kloof Luxury Estate is located near the Swellendam’s historical region. The guesthouse’s street opens out onto gardens that overlook the Langeberg Mountains.

The guesthouse’s architecture is originally from 1801 however it has been renovated to cope up with times. The interior now comprises of unique antiques and artefacts.

You have access to a golf course, swimming pool and they help you book a trip to the Langeberg Mountains. You can even go an excursion to Bontebok National Park. You can expect complimentary wine tastings at the guest house too.

De Kloof offers a warm homely yet luxurious experience with its food. Breakfast comes with freshly baked bread, eggs in the way you like it and fresh fruits.

You can enjoy lunches on the terrace of the suite, garden or the poolside. They prefer serving light lunch, which keeps you active to explore throughout the day.

Dinners at this guesthouse are yours to choose from a menu. Your tables are set up in the lawns where you can enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner under the stars.

Rooms

Manor XL Suite

The XL Suite mixes ancient and contemporary design. It is equipped with a king size waterbed and a satellite flat-screen TV. The bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub, double sinks, and dual rain showers. The suite also has underfloor heating.

Honeymoon Suite

Honeymoon Suites offer privacy and can be differentiated from all other suites. It incorporates a fireplace, super king size waterbed, chandelier, fur rug, fresh flowers, and candles. The bathroom holds a Jacuzzi bath and a shower. This suite also has a private terrace too.

Luxury Room

The Luxury Rooms are decorated separately, each to provide their individuality. All rooms come with extra length beds and relaxing area both indoors and outdoors. All your facilities are luxurious and comfortable. All luxury rooms have bathrooms with rain showers and dual basins.

Deluxe Suite

The Deluxe Suites are at the private zen garden. They are larger than Luxury Rooms and also come with leather couches apart from all the other facilities within the Luxury Room and XL Suites.

Other Room Types

Located together in an enclosed private zen garden, the Deluxe Garden Suites are exquisite in design. These suites offer more space than the Luxury Rooms to include the built-in leather couches and the flat screen TV.

The large en suite designer bathrooms offer a separate bath, large rain shower, and dual vanities.

Situated in the original manor house, the Manor XL suite combines the historical with modern, eclectic elements. The main room is outfitted with a stabilised king-sized waterbed, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, while the bathroom features a Jacuzzi tub, dual rain showers, double vanities, and under-floor heating.

The suite offers a private patio with stunning mountain views.
The Grand & Honeymoon Suites are private and set aside from the rest of the suites.

The main area features a fireplace, a stabilised super-king-sized waterbed, a chandelier fixture, faux fur rugs, candles and fresh flowers. The designer bathroom is just as exquisite, with a Jacuzzi bath and separate shower.

The suites have a secluded private terrace and an interlinking staircase to create a two-bedroom family suite.
