Chindeni

Overview

Located deep inside the game-rich South Luangwa, Chindeni is a private bush camp providing a reliable safari knowledge on the winding Luangwa River. The camp offers a peaceful environment along with airy thatch-roofed buildings in the shade by an orchard of antique ebony trees. Constructed high on stilts, the wooden viewing deck offers extraordinary views of the lagoon where hippo and other animals like large herds of elephants are frequently seen. Go aboard on early morning and sunset guided bush walks, or evening game drives to spot elephants, lions, leopards and buffaloes. In addition, you can witness rare wildlife animals such as wild dogs and Thornicroft’s giraffe. You will observe a small number of vehicles at this friendly camp. The spotlight is on elasticity that the safari-goers have the choice of walking to sister camps, a mesmerizing movement that requires at least half a day and permits you to notice the minor essentials of the park as well as roadway large sport on foot. Chindeni is intensely occupied in the broader South Luangwa society and provides aid to restricted schools and feeding schemes. Helps plant trees and sink boreholes for fresh, safe water, as well as being enthusiastically devoted to the area’s successful protection projects.
