Overview
Africa on Foot Camp is a no-frills, no-fuss camp in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. This reserve is located west of Timbavati and shares a fenceless border with the Kruger National Park allowing animals to roam freely between the two. Far-removed from the throngs of tourists in the main section of the park, it provides its guests with an intimate and exclusive safari experience.
This impressive and diverse area offers spectacular scenery and incredible wildlife viewing opportunities. The area is private and exclusive with no other vehicles in sight. Highlights include tracking the Big Five on foot accompanied by experienced and passionate guides or guests can enjoy a sleep-out under the stars. Africa on Foot Walking Safaris offers guests a rustic and more traditional safari experience and being owner run and managed, the experience is bound to be exceptional.

Rooms
Luxury Chalet
The Africa on Foot Camp in the Klaseri Game Reserve of the Greater Kruger National Park of South Africa offers five spacious chalets to relax in. Each Chalet is uniquely designed and composed. The rooms offer an en-suite bathroom with a shower, plug points and either a double bed or two single beds. The bathrooms in the chalets are en-suite. However, they do not feature a door.

Tree House
The Treehouse has 2 twins or a double bed (depending on occupants) and an outside bathroom and shower located on the ground. It sleeps a maximum of two guests and is ideal for guests seeking an adventurous experience out in the wild. The wooden structure places the occupants at eye level with the trees, while there are a thatched roof overhead and open sides. A mosquito net provides protection from pesky bugs.

Activities
The Klaserie Private Game Reserve is not as “famous” as the Sabi Sands, Timbavati and Thornybush Private Reserve – which makes it ideal for walking safaris! The area offers exclusivity and no other people or other vehicles have access to the Reserve. Game wanders freely over vast areas and guests are likely to see all the amazing animals of the African bush like rhino, elephant, lion, leopard, and buffalo.Activities include walking safaris led by experienced, qualified and armed game rangers. Land game drives are conducted in open 4×4 Land Rovers as well as night drives with a spotlight. Sleep outs at the tree houses will be on a request basis.
