The private suite villas on the shores of Zibadianja Lagoon in Botswana are intimately expensive and endearing.

The villas clearly maintain the balance between romance and adventure, with the lavish and luxurious decor in colors of brown, copper, brass and red. These colors strongly appeal to the wealth and beauty of Africa in a unique way. With more than one reference to its cultural history, the viewing deck is made up of old century teak railways to give out the resemblance. The ceiling of the shelter falls to the open sides to give the best sensational view of the reserve. The two en-suite bedrooms in each suite and villa attached to the dining room and lounge overlook a large terrace and a private pool. You can also spend a romantic evening by the fire pit to make it an intimate affair with your partner.

Zarafa Dhow Suites is a luxury retreat for friends and families, hidden away from other visitors and undisturbed by busy lifestyles. It is a very private retreat in northern Botswana, in the Selinda Game Reserve, which overlooks the Zibadianja Lagoon’s clear crystal waters.

Facilities

Zarafa Dhow Suites can be easily located in the most remote areas, but when it comes to the luxury and comfort, it is definitely at your fingertips. Yoga essentials such as the yoga mat are provided in each suite. A spinning exercise cycle and a 5 meter swimming pool are also included in the various amenities available here. After your routine workout plan, you can relax with a rejuvenating massage in the in-room. The main lounge and dining room features a bar, tea / coffee facilities and a comfortable seating area where visitors or guests can relax. The place also features a fire pit and a spacious desk.

The Zarafa’s boat, ‘The HES Zib’ is equipped with comfortable sofas, a dining room and a bar for you to enjoy a floating brunch or a sunset, while elephants and hippos bathe in the water. You can also watch various species of birds from the comfort of your boat, which is absolutely fascinating. The fishing gear is also available if you would like fishing. A safari is also possible, thanks to the Swarovski telescope, which can be used on the private deck. In each room, there are Swarovski binoculars too and two Canon 5D camera bodies with Canon 100-400mm and 20-105mm lenses. Photos are uploaded to a storage device and given to you when you leave the facility.

A shop near Zarafa Camp sells crafts, inspired by the local and regional art, which support local community projects initiatives in the Okavango panhandle.

Dining

Delicious three course meals are offered daily; the timings can be defined by guests. These meals can easily be delivered to the bush, giving you the comfort of not having to stop your safari experience. The villas will satisfy all your daily dietary requirement.

Dining can be arranged privately or indoors, depending upon your preference as room service is available in the Zarafa Dhow Suite.

Exclusive Use

The rooms in the Zarafa Show Suite are large with size dimensions 210m2 or 690 square feet. These luxurious villas are maintained and set on a raised wooden deck. The beds can be double or twin. The lounge has a comfortable sofa and two chairs, as well as a coffee machine and a dining table. A fridge is also included which offers a wide selection of drinks and wines.

Each room has an outdoor bathroom with an en-suite shower, a deep copper bathtub and two sinks. There are separate bathrooms, outdoor showers and hairdryers as well.
