Facilities

Kapama Southern Camp has a traditional boma and a large terrace with an adjacent bar where you can spend the sunny Limpopo afternoons.

Guests have access to the Kapama Spa with six treatment rooms, a pool, and a well-equipped mini-gym. For total relaxation, enjoy one of the day care packages, including special moments like Kapama Moor Rasul, Kapama Pinotage, and Marble Ritual, accompanied by a glass of champagne o Amarula, a local liqueur made from the fruits of the Marula native.

Massage with traditional African pumpkins and sticks to Rungu while the illusion of the ears offers a welcome relief to those who suffer from jet lag or sinus problems.

The little ones are not forgotten in the Kapama wellness center. Age-appropriate massages and enjoyable nail treatments can be enjoyed in the presence of an adult. Customers can also enjoy an African beauty session with patterns and colors inspired by traditional African tricks.

The spa uses Dermologica, Healing Earth (local products made with local ingredients) and Moor Spa in all its treatments.

Dining

The friendly bartender is always ready to treat you to a refreshing cocktail or two. Breakfast and lunch are served in the open-sided dining room, so you can keep an eye on the surrounding treetops for curious monkeys or birds such as hoopoes and African hornbills. The focus of the dining room is, undoubtedly, the elegant glass wine cellar, which houses a beautiful cut of some of South Africa’s finest wines.

As time passes on, the chefs in the traditional Boma, light fires outdoors to prepare dinner in the African-style flame.

There are 15 rooms at Kapama Southern Camp: 12 luxury suites and 3 family suites. All have air conditioning, minibars, private bars, and terraces, as well as private pools, indoor and outdoor showers, espresso machines and cozy fireplaces for bathrooms and daytime areas.

For the more adventurous guests, stay overnight on the animal resting chair track in the middle of the bush, complete with bathtub, walkie-talkie and an emergency phone.
